MARCHING MUSTANGS

  • We are so incredibly proud of our Marching Mustangs! We are a competitive marching band that has been in the top five marching bands in the state of Florida for ten of the last twelve years at the Florida Marching Band Coalition State Finals. Our marching band is an incredibly talented, dedicated group of musicians that love what they do. The Marching Mustangs consistently earn superior ratings at the Florida Bandmasters Association Music Performance Assessments. Our Mustangs have been featured on television, radio, newspapers, social media, and websites. Be sure to catch a performance at Lakewood Ranch football games, various parades, and competitions around Florida!

  • The Color Guard enhances the marching band performances through dance, flag, and other equipment work. The band supplies the music, while the color guard adds the color, beauty, and flash to the presentation.

INDOOR PERCUSSION & WINTER GUARD

  • Much like marching band, indoor percussion meets outside of school hours for rehearsals and competitions. The indoor percussion season runs December - March.

  • The Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit (FFCC) is a competitive and educational experience via indoor pageantry arts in the winter season beginning in January culminating in early April. This competitive outlet follows the rules and criteria of Winter Guard International (WGI). Each competition is judged by both local and national judges trained to use WGI’s adjudication criteria.
